The redesigned front end of the 2019 Chevy Cruze boasts a bolder front grille, and updated taillights give the rear end a more simplified look as you pull away. However, you’ll find slightly more rear headspace in the hatchback, with 37.8 inches of rear headroom—compared to 37.3 inches in the sedan. The sedan also comes with 14.8 cubic feet of cargo volume in its trunk, which is plenty of space for your daily commute or weekly grocery shopping.

If you want more cargo space, opt for the hatchback. Although it’s a compact car, it offers plenty of room for all your gear. The 2019 Chevy Cruze hatchback has 22.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. That increases to 47.2 cubic feet when you fold the rear seats down.
