Meet Mallori Mangus-Hayden
Mallori Mangus-Hayden is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has been for 14 years. She has worked in the mental health industry for 18 years in both public agencies and private practice and has even been verified by Psychology Today.
Her passion is for helping people. She’s worked with individuals, couples, and families, which has only furthered her passion. She believes that therapy is like discovering a treasure chest, and everyone has the key to their own success within them.
What is a Licensed Professional Counselor?
An LPC is a professional with a least a master’s degree in counseling, which includes an internship along with coursework. Additionally, an LPC must complete 3,000 supervised practice hours within two years after completing their degree. Finally, they must pass the National Counselor Exam (NCE) or an equivalent state license exam.
