The History of Child and Family Charities

This organization has been helping children and families for quite some time. Founded in 1911, Child and Family Charities was initially formed as the Ingham County Branch of Michigan Children’s Aid. They were created with the goal of ensuring every child has an opportunity to a high quality of life in the face of hardship.

Over the years, this organization has grown to offer six divisions and 25 programs that support over 7,000 children and families each year. With so much this group has to offer, there are plenty of ways you can lend a hand to make sure they can help as many children and families in the community as possible.

How You Can Help Child and Family Charities

Are you interested in improving a child’s life within your community? There are several ways you can help this organization, including through donations. Even just a small donation can secure the resources necessary to provide an orphaned child with a higher quality of life.

There are also several volunteer opportunities available that can be a way for you to make a proactive step towards providing children with the life they deserve. The volunteer positions currently available are:
