1. Prior to diving into an oil change, the type of oil your car takes will need to be determined so replacement oil can be purchased.
2. Once you have new oil, the process can be started, removing the drain plugs and letting the old oil drain out.
3. Next, your old oil filter will need to be removed.
4. Then, the drain plugs can be inserted back into the vehicle.
5. From there, the car will be ready to receive a new oil filter and new oil, in that order.
6. Check oil levels and get back out on the roadways!
