What is PermaSafe?
It is a two-step interior sanitizer product with a one-time application process. First, PermaSafe CLEAN, a uniquely curated, multi-surface cleaner, will be applied to all surfaces of your vehicle. Then, PermaSafe SHIELD, an antimicrobial surface protectant that will continuously inhibit the growth and spread of bacteria. PermaSafe Protection Package:
- Makes interior surfaces antimicrobial and virtually “Self-Sanitizing”
- Continuously purifies passenger cabin air
- Meets the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19
The process and formulas are effective on an endless array of surfaces, both soft and hard, as well as your HVAC system. PermaSafe CLEAN:
- Kills 99.999% of bacteria and viruses
- Eliminates odors and allergens
- Destroys and inhibits the growth of mold, mildew and other microbes
- Sanitizes HVAC systems and ductwork
How long does PermaSafe last?
PermaSafe CLEAN is effective almost immediately once applied, and PermaSafe SHIELD is effective for months; it does not dissipate over time or “wash off” if you decide to clean your vehicle yourself. Due to various environmental factors, our effective claim is limited to 90 days.
Is the PermaSafe Protection Package safe?
The goal of the cleaning and sanitation process is first and foremost, safety! Both PermaSafe CLEAN and PermaSafe SHIELD and EPA registered and Food Contact Surface Approved.
- PermaSafe CLEAN is non-corrosive, contains no skin irritants, and is bleach-free, among other things.
- PermaSafe SHIELD is FDA approved, water-based, and odor-free, among other things.
What is the difference between PermaSafe and other cleaning and sanitization products on the market?
There are many differences between PermaSafe products and other antimicrobial products. Traditional disinfectants kill bacteria by poisoning them with chemicals. They are designed to act quickly and dissipate because they can be harmful to people and pets. PermaSafe products do also kill bacteria quickly, but unlike other disinfectants, they are not harmful to people. PermaSafe products also work perpetually. This means that they eliminate bacteria and odors over a more extended period.
