Local Spotlight: Michigan Nonprofit Association

Non-Profit Programs

Michigan is fortunate enough to have many nonprofit organizations that work to support their communities. However, running a nonprofit organization requires administrative labor and often unforeseen costs. To help nonprofits do the most work possible, the Michigan Nonprofit Association was founded to help support these nonprofits so they can have the biggest and most profound impact on our community as possible.

In this local spotlight, we’d like to shine a light on all the incredible work this association does. Let’s start by learning a little more about this association’s history!

The Michigan Nonprofit Association Mission

For 20 years, the Michigan Nonprofit Association has worked with nonprofits throughout the state to help advance their missions. What started as a think tank for discussing an array of issues affecting nonprofits in the community has turned into a multi-faceted organization that exists to address them.

Today, they provide nonprofit organizations as well as tax-exempt organizations with the resources they need to thrive as a functional and productive facet of the community. These resources include a smattering of everything from advocacy services to training resources.

The Many Services & Programs They Offer

Finance Support First and foremost, this association strives to connect organizations throughout the community. They believe that nonprofit organizations are stronger together. Today, their organization network is made up of more than 900 organizations that serve and better the community.
