Broad Museum

This network of museums and historic sites includes 12 locations, with the flagship one right in Lansing: The Michigan History Museum. Potter Park Zoo

Moving out of the air conditioning and into something more natural, there’s Potter Park Zoo. Some of their most famous animals include their African Lions, Alaskan Moose, Amur Tigers, Arctic Foxes, Bactrian Camels, North American Bald Eagles, Red Pandas, and Snow Leopards. You can actually watch videos of these animals on their Youtube channel, where you can also learn about how the zookeepers train them!

W.J. Beal Botanical Garden

Speaking of the great outdoors, the last place to visit on our list is the W.J. Beal Botanical Garden. This land-grant institution has a multitude of missions: teaching, collection development, research, conservation, and public service, to name a few.
